Career paths can wind down different roads. One day, during summer break from teaching, Stephanie Schuessler found hers take an unexpected turn. She had an urge to become licensed to sell real estate — and acted on it.
“I sold a home the first day I was licensed,” recalls Schuessler. “Within about 18 months, I found my first new-home opportunity, helping out as a contract writer for one day at the grand opening of Canal Station in Ballard.”
A Seattle native, Schuessler works primarily in new-homes sales, representing local, national and international builder clients in Greater Seattle and the Eastside. Over twenty years and countless transactions — including an array of sales awards (she loves her trophies) — later, Schuessler still gains satisfaction from solving problems, negotiating deals and being surrounded by action. “I am constantly thinking of the future and my goals,” she says.
With more than half a billion dollars in active, pending and sold inventory throughout her career, Schuessler has represented attached, detached and multifamily condominiums, townhomes and single-family residences.
Buyers are always quick to compliment her positive attitude, willingness to listen, professional demeanor, industry knowledge and good sense of humor. Full of energy and willing to go the extra mile for her sellers, she has proven to be reliable, consistent and timely in all of her communication with them. “I do what I say I’m going to do, and relationships are of utmost importance to me,” she explains.
